Are Lamborghini and Ferrari still rivals?
Had the times been different, Enzo Ferrari and Ferruccio Lamborghini could have been friends, but their rivalry continues to echo to this day. They are both from Italy, the men as well as their namesake brand of cars.
Lamborghini offers a similar semi-automatic transmission to Ferrari, but if you prefer to drive a manual, you should also go for a Lamborghini. Finally, Lamborghini produces less vehicles overall than Ferrari. The exclusivity of driving a Lamborghini will make your car stand out, even among other supercars.
Ferrari is the original competitor of Lamborghini.
That said, there are a few Lamborghinis that edge Ferrari out. The Lamborghini Aventador, for instance, has a top speed of 217 mph, a solid 30 seconds faster than the fastest Ferrari (the Ferrari 488 GTB). This also makes it the tenth fastest car in the world.
Ferrari's competitors and similar companies include Audi, Aston Martin Lagonda, Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Ford Motor, McLaren Group, Bugatti and Porsche Automobil Holding.
With a record-breaking top speed, the Bugatti Chiron is faster than the Bugatti Veyron, Lamborghini Murciélago, Koenigsegg Agera, and anything from the Mercedes-Benz AMG high-performance line. In fact, the Bugatti Chiron has the honor of being the fastest supercar in the world.
There are some key differences that are pronounced from each maker. Ferrari offers a long heritage of racing history and a certain nostalgia and prestige that many drivers want. Lamborghini provides more power and innovation, setting itself apart as a car maker that grabs your interest and doesn't let go.
Buying a world-class luxury supercar doesn't come cheap. The cheapest models available will still cost you a few hundred thousand dollars. Lamborghinis overall tend to be a bit more expensive than Ferraris.
Cost. Current Ferrari retail prices begin at approximately $230,000. The suggested retail price of the Lamborghini Aventador is $379,700, while the cost of a Gallardo ranges from $181,900 to $248,000.

What sells more Lambo or Ferrari?
Lamborghini's trajectory under the ownership of Volkswagen Group has been a hell of a ride, but its worldwide sales numbers are still lagging behind Ferrari, which sold a record 10,131 cars in 2019.
BMW Group competitors include Porsche, Mercedes-Benz USA, Audi, Lexus and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA).

The Ferrari vs. Lamborghini rivalry is legendary, having spanned decades and a tremendous suite of sports cars from both exotic automakers. Ferrari's Prancing Horse and Lamborghini's Raging Bull are in this sense in eternal competition with each other, and the vehicles themselves are as different as their icons.
Ferrari was formed in 1947, while Lamborghini was founded in 1963. While Ferrari is 17 years older than Lamborghini, they're competitive rivals. After these two legendary companies debuted, the automotive industry was changed forever.

2/8 Don't Buy A Ferrari
Okay, this is another unwritten rule; but it can be frowned upon for Lamborghini owners to buy a Ferrari. That being said, in the end – money talks. Because cash is king, it wouldn't be fair to say that there has never been a Lambo owner that parked a Ferrari in their garage or vice versa.
